Honourary Islander Spud-In Ceremony

Come have fun!

Isn't it time you befriended a PEI Potato?

Humourous and Entertaining!

Join Spudley, the PEI Potato Ambassador for an interactive, engaging ceremony that celebrates the Island potato, the lingo and the uniqueness of this wonderful place we call Prince Edward Island.

Taking the pledge of allegiance, repeating the "Island Tongue Twist", straddling the Potato Drill (Row of Potatoes for all of you come from awayers!!!) and Bellowing the PEI Potato Loyalty Chant all combine to deliver your group "Honorary Islander Status."

We present you all with a "Certificate of Authenticity" and a PEI Potato Survival Package to prove it!

A delightful piece of clean fun for groups of all sizes and ages.

Jack, a well known Island personality, acts as Master of Ceremonies, as he along with Spudley the Potato Ambassador, walk participants through the hilarious steps to becoming an Honourary Spud Islander!

The "Auld Scot", is the alter ego of Jack MacAndrew, himself a fourth generation descendant of Scots Highland settlers in both his paternal and maternal lines. Mr. MacAndrew has spent a lifetime as an award winning director, producer, writer and interviewer in Canadian theatre and television: and as a print journalist in newspapers and magazines.
